A college student killed in a head-on crash in Washington Township last week had been cited for alcohol and traffic-related violations just two days earlier. Domenico Crea, 18, died along with two other Edinboro University of Pennsylvania students in a two-car accident on Draketown Road on Wednesday. (0) comments

University officials honor Veterans Day with personal memories and unique experiences

A 21-gun salute erupted in the field outside Reeder Hall this past Veterans Day as Edinboro held its annual Veterans Day reception on Nov. 11, beginning at 3 p.m. The events were presided over by Kahan Sablo, the interim vice president of student affairs. President Jeremy Brown was unable to attend, due to an engagement in Harrisburg. (0) comments

The Erie Arts Museum Annex was all aflutter the evening of Saturday, Nov. 14, as Chimera held their annual soiree. Edinboro students, their parents, professors and countless guests attended the event easily making it the artistic event of the season. Chimera is a student organization that produces an arts and literature journal aptly named "Chimera. (0) comments

A large group of students visited President Jeremy Brown during his President's Hour at 3 p.m. in Reeder Hall last Friday, Nov. 13. Brown faced a greater turnout compared to previous sessions. The students' more pressing topics and concerns included professional grievances and university budget. (1) comment

The Student Government Association (SGA) met in the Frank G. Pogue Student Center Nov. 16 at 5 p.m. to discuss a new philanthropy project, vehicle replacement, a campus beautification project for the winter season and a fan bus to the Edinboro and West Liberty State football game this Saturday.
